| Direct Briefing
Our barristers are usually briefed by Australia's leading commercial law firms but can also be directly briefed by in-house counsel and by international law firms without restriction and without the need for an interposing solicitor.
For further information on direct briefing by corporate counsel, please see the attached file link to the paper prepared by our member, Albert Monichino, delivered to the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA).
In addition, List A Barristers can also be directly briefed by non-lawyers from certain professional bodies, government departments and agencies under the Victorian Bar's direct access rules.
Contact the Clerking office if you have an inquiry about whether direct access briefing is an option for your matter or organisation. |
