| Jennifer has had extensive experience in appearing before the High Court, the Federal Court, the Victorian Court of Appeal and the Victorian Supreme Court. She has also appeared in numerous special leave applications in the High Court and has experience in intervention and amicus curiae applications.
In addition to providing advice to private clients, Jennifer has also been briefed by State and Federal government regulatory agencies to provide advice to them. She has advised on a number of high profile cases in the financial services industry concerning directors’ duties, disclosure requirements and misleading and deceptive conduct. Jennifer has also advised the government on how to structure proposed legislation, taking into account corporate governance and taxation issues.
Jennifer has an extensive practice in the charitable sector and has been involved in a number of pro bono cases, including migration cases referred to her by the Federal Court and cases referred to her by the Public Interest Law Clearing House such as the so-called “Gunns 20” case. |
