Catherine practises in corporations, commercial, insolvency and tax law. She appears in the Supreme Court (trial division and Court of Appeal) and the Federal Court, both as leading counsel and as junior counsel. Catherine has particular experience in contract disputes (including disputes arising from joint ventures) class actions and regulatory matters.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Catherine studied at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, worked for the Law Commission in London and was a Senior Associate in the commercial disputes division of Minter Ellison.
