The members and staff at List A Barristers congratulate Lisa Nicols QC on her appointment to the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Lisa came to the Bar in 2007, prior to which she was a partner at Slater & Gordon where she was the head of its commercial litigation practice in Melbourne.
Lisa was appointed Silk in 2017. Most recently, she was appointed Counsel Assisting in the Royal Commission into Mental Health. She also appeared as Senior Counsel for ASIC in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry (2018) and was junior Counsel Assisting the Bushfires Royal Commission.
Justice Nichols’ appointment takes effect today, 22 October 2019.
