List A congratulates Robert Williams SC on his appointment as Senior Counsel, effective today (7 August 2025).
The Honourable Chris Kourakis, Chief Justice of South Australia, announced on behalf of the Judges of the Supreme Court of South Australia the appointment of six new Senior Counsel, including Robert Williams SC. In his remarks, the Chief Justice stated, “Senior Counsel are leaders of the profession who adhere to the highest standards of legal excellence and integrity. The Chief Justice congratulates the Senior Counsel announced today. Robert holds a Master of Laws (Honours) from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Bond University. His practice focuses on commercial law, including contractual claims, torts, equity, restitution, trusts, product liability, insolvency, intellectual property, and class actions. Robert appears in the Supreme Courts of South Australia and Victoria and regularly before the Federal Court of Australia, the District Court of South Australia, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
