Alice has deep experience in competition and consumer law, infrastructure access and economic regulation.
Alice has deep experience in competition and consumer law, and acts for and against corporations, individuals and regulators during regulatory investigations, and in regulatory and private litigation, including civil penalty proceedings. She acts in matters before the Australian Competition Tribunal, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia, including appellate matters.
Alice’s experience in competition law proceedings encompasses mergers, civil and criminal cartel conduct (for individuals and corporations, including immunity applications), misuse of market power, concerted practices and other anticompetitive conduct, as well as third party infrastructure access and related economic regulation.
Her experience in consumer law encompasses false, misleading or deceptive conduct, unconscionable conduct and various related areas under the Australian Consumer Law and analogous legislation, including industry-specific consumer protection regimes.
Alice is recognised by her peers and instructors through her rankings in Chambers (Band 1), Doyles Guide (Preeminent) and Best Lawyers.
Prior to becoming a barrister, Alice was a partner in Ashurst’s competition practice.
