Yanni practises primarily in commercial, regulatory and public law.

Before coming to the Bar, Yanni was an associate in the disputes and investigations team at Slaughter and May in London, where he acted on a number of complex and high value commercial disputes often involving issues of foreign law. Prior to that, he was a solicitor in the dispute resolution team at King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne.

Yanni has a Bachelor of Civil Law with Distinction from the University of Oxford, where he was awarded the Linklaters Prize for Best Performance in Principles of Financial Regulation. He also has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours)/Commerce from Monash University.

Yanni read with Tamieka Spencer Bruce S.C. and his senior mentor is Stephen Parmenter KC.
