Rachel accepts briefs in a broad range of areas, including public law (constitutional and administrative), commercial law and tax. She also has expertise in common law proceedings involving novel claims in tort and in matters concerning complex questions of statutory construction.
Before coming to the Bar, Rachel first worked in commercial litigation at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) in Sydney, Fried Frank in New York and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London. She then gained experience in public law at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office.
Rachel was admitted to practice in South Australia (1998), NSW (1998), Victoria (2007), New York (2002) and, as a solicitor, in England and Wales (2007).
