Julia has a broad commercial, regulatory and public law practice.
She regularly appears in a diverse range of matters in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Before coming to the Bar, Julia was Researcher to the Solicitor-General for Victoria, a solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office and an Associate to the Honourable Justice Kenny at the Federal Court of Australia, the Honourable Chief Justice French and the Honourable Justice Gageler at the High Court of Australia.
Julia also lectures at Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne where she has taught constitutional law, administrative law, evidence and ethics.
