Simon Frauenfelder

About Simon

Simon has a broad practice in commercial and public law, with a focus on government private law liability, class actions, major torts and insolvency.

He also has extensive experience in Royal Commissions and inquiries.

Before coming to the Bar, Simon was a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. At Corrs, he acted in complex litigation matters across class actions, insolvency, constitutional law, consumer protection and product liability as well as regulatory investigations, including allegations of foreign bribery.

Simon was Associate to the Hon Justice Michelle Gordon AC of the High Court of Australia from June 2015 to December 2016. Since 2020, he has lectured in Remedies in the JD program at the University of Melbourne. His published work has appeared in the Australian Law Journal, Journal of Contract Law, Criminal Law Journal and others.
