Angus practises primarily in commercial, regulatory and public law.

Before coming to the Bar, Angus was a senior associate to the Hon Geoffrey Nettle AC QC and an associate to the Hon Justice Simon Steward at the High Court of Australia. Angus was also a solicitor in the banking and finance group at Herbert Smith Freehills, where he advised clients on a range of complex acquisition, project and corporate finance transactions.

Angus will lecture in commercial equity in the 2022 Masters of Law programme at Monash University with the Hon Geoffrey Nettle AC QC.

Angus holds a Juris Doctor from Melbourne Law School and a Master of Law with First Class Honours from the University of Cambridge.

Angus is reading with Mark Costello and his senior mentor is David Batt QC.
