Ella Delany

Ella has a broad practice in all areas of commercial and public law including corporations, tax and planning.

Prior to coming to the bar, Ella was Associate to Justice Gordon at the High Court, Justice Dixon at the Supreme Court, and practiced as a solicitor in commercial litigation at Arnold Bloch Leibler.

Ella completed her undergraduate law degree at Cambridge University on a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship, where she was awarded the Richard Akinjide Prize for exceptional academic performance. Ella also holds a Masters in Writing from Columbia University where she was appointed a Teaching Fellow in 2012, and an LLM from Melbourne University, focusing on commercial and public law, where she achieved a first class honours average.

Ella is a reporter for the Commonwealth Law Reports.

Ella is reading with Kathleen Foley and her senior mentor is Dr Catherine Button QC.
