Jeff practises in general commercial law. He specialises in insurance, building and construction matters and sports law.
He appears in and acts as an arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations and is a Grade 1 Accredited Arbitrator. He also acts as a mediator. He appears in trial and appellate courts in all jurisdictions in Australia, particularly in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Jeff worked at Theodore Goddard (London) in 1991 and 1992, and at Corrs Chambers Westgarth from 1989 to 1991. He completed his articles at Maddock Lonie & Chisholm in 1988.
Jeff is Chairman of both the Insurance Committee and the Sports Law Committee of the Commercial Bar Association of the Victorian Bar. He is also Chairman of the AFL Tribunal, Commission Counsel for Cricket Australia and acts regularly as counsel for Racing Victoria.
