Karan has a broad commercial law practice. He also accepts briefs in unfair dismissal and migration matters.

Karan has particular expertise in regulatory disputes, having acted for both respondents and applicants in a number of significant financial services, competition and trade practices matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Karan was a Senior Associate in the litigation team at King & Wood Mallesons. He was previously an associate to Justice Weinberg of the Victorian Court of Appeal.

Karan has published articles in areas such as construction law, contract and legal professional privilege.
