Karan Raghavan

Karan is an experienced litigator who practises in all areas of civil litigation. He has a particular focus on commercial, regulatory, competition and trade practices matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Karan was a Senior Associate in the litigation team at King & Wood Mallesons. He was also an associate to Justice Weinberg of the Victorian Court of Appeal, where he assisted with a number of significant criminal appeals.

At King & Wood Mallesons, Karan worked on a wide variety of complex commercial disputes. In recent years, he acted in several high-profile trade practices and regulatory cases involving the ACCC and APRA. He also has substantial experience advising clients in relation to regulatory, disciplinary and whistle-blower investigations.

Karan has published articles on subjects such as restitution, contract and legal professional privilege.

Karan is reading with Paul Liondas. His senior mentor is Suresh Senathirajah QC.
