Mark practises in commercial and public law.

In commercial law, Mark has advised and appeared in matters involving trusts, financial services, consumer protection, fiduciary duties, obligations of confidence, agency law and the law of restitution.

In public law, Mark has advised and appeared in matters involving federal and state constitutional law and a range of areas of administrative law, including federal and state judicial review, freedom of information, privacy and migration.

Before coming to the Bar, Mark was an associate to the Hon Justice S M Crennan AC at the High Court of Australia and a solicitor at Allens.

Mark has degrees in commerce and law from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge. Mark studied at Cambridge as a Cambridge Trust Scholar and received the B R D Clarke Prize for Best Overall Performance in the LLM, the Chancellor’s Medal for English Law, and the Gareth Jones Prize for Restitution.

Member of the Readers' Course Committee of the Victorian Bar.
