Selena practices primarily in commercial and public law.

Selena was an Associate at the High Court (Justice Gageler), an Associate at the Federal Court (Justice Robertson) and Counsel Assisting the Solicitor-General of the Commonwealth (Dr Stephen Donaghue KC). She also worked at the Victorian Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants and as a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Government Solicitor.

Selena has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the ANU, where she graduated first in her law cohort. She also has a Master of Laws from Harvard University. She has taught various courses in private and public law at the ANU and the University of Melbourne.
