List A Barristers congratulates the Honourable Justice Simon Steward AC who was made a Companion of the Order of Australia on the King’s Birthday on 9 June 2025.
He was appointed for eminent service to the law and to the judiciary, to legal education and training, to mentorship of legal practitioners, and as an advocate.
Justice Steward AC is a valued past member of List A, having signed the bar roll in 1999 and taking Silk in 2009. He was appointed to the High Court in October 2020.
