Jacqui practises primarily in commercial law.

Immediately before coming to the Bar, Jacqui was a senior lawyer in the Civil Regulation team at the Australian Government Solicitor in Melbourne, and before that an Associate to the Honourable Justice Gordon AC of the High Court of Australia and a solicitor in the litigation group at Arnold Bloch Leibler.

Jacqui has developed a broad commercial practice. While at AGS, Jacqui was one of the solicitors assisting the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, and advised regulatory clients on high-profile regulatory investigations and litigation concerning financial services laws, competition law (such as mergers and misuse of market power) and consumer protection. Jacqui also regularly advised on discrete issues including legal professional privilege and regulatory powers. While at ABL, Jacqui represented clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes, gaining particular experience in shareholder class actions, professional negligence claims (in the context of superannuation, tax and accounting practice) and contractual disputes.

Jacqui is reading with Mark Costello KC and her senior mentor is Dr Michael Rush KC.
