Tom practises primarily in commercial law, with an emphasis on class actions, corporations law, contractual disputes and financial services litigation (particularly in relation to matters arising under the AML/CTF Act).

Before coming to the Bar, Tom was an associate to the Honourable Justice Steward at the High Court of Australia and an associate to the Honourable Justice Anastassiou at the Federal Court of Australia. He also practised as a solicitor at Allens, where he acted on a number of complex regulatory investigations and commercial disputes.

Tom graduated with a Juris Doctor (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Dean’s Honours List) from the University of Melbourne.

Tom read with Kane Loxley and his senior mentor was Penny Neskovcin KC, now the Honourable Justice Neskovcin of the Federal Court of Australia.
