List A Barristers congratulates the appointment of the Honourable Lisa Nichols as a Judge of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria. Her appointment is effective from 29 September 2026.
Justice Nichols was appointed to the Commercial Court in 2019 after an almost 30-year legal career where she acted in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, Bushfires Royal Commission, and Victorian Mental Health Royal Commission.
Her Honour was a leader in class action law and was appointed silk in 2017.
